Herb Garden Harvest & Tea Ceremony

Foraging for Beginners: Brookside Park Walk & ID

Reiman Gardens has partnered with the Ames Parks & Recreation for this off-site edible plant walk led by local forager and neuroscientist Crystal Jewell.

Participants will meet Crystal at the park entrance, and walk through various accessible areas, paying particular attention to using your senses and context clues to identify edible plants with a discussion of best practices and responsible harvesting.
