Ethnopharmacology Plant Walk: Focus on medicinal properties of plants along walk, including a discussion of recorded uses in traditional folk medicine practices.
Wild Foraging Walk: Broad identification of wild edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms, including their uses in wildcrafting. Can be adjusted for beginners.
Lion’s Mane & Neuroplasticity: For clinicians, though accessible to all. Addresses common misinformation and misinterpretations of the neuroscience of the Hericium genus (lion’s mane/bear’s head tooth/coral tooth). Powerpoint format.
Burlap Sack Drying Racks: Learn how to build a drying rack out of upcycled and foraged materials. All materials will be provided. Participants will be able to create and take home a small drying rack for their traditional floral and fungal medicine air-drying preservations.
Acorn Cap Balms: Learn how to create tiny zero-waste balms using foraged materials - sealed inside acorn caps!
Witches Candles/Hag Torches: Learn how to create torches out of dried mullein stalks and beeswax.
Mindfulness Meditation: Walking, sitting, or lying down paired with gentle breathwork techniques.
